banks and chat or watch the water roll by. Going to a country store, village library or for a country

breakfast at a nearby restaurant brings back the joys of a time gone by in most places but remains in

the Forever Wild Adirondacks. Swimming, fishing and kayaking are just a few ways to enjoy the

beautiful Ausable River. Lake Placid Village is just 20 beautiful minutes away on the most picturesque

road of the Adirondacks. The Village offers shopping, dining, museums, The Olympic Center, golf, horse

shows, movies, festivals, nightlife, ... or "in short" - hustle and bustle of this, lively Olympic Village.
